When I stepped through the doors of Sculpt on my first day back to work, I knew I was ready. I had just taken a year off to work on my clothing line Ripped Angel from home. Needless to say I missed working with people. My desire has been and always will be helping people. I have a passion to teach and an absolute love of seeing the transformation that happens when a person learns how to care for themselves and prioritize their health. I have never been one to promote or support something that I myself do not believe in or see the benefit in. I can tell you Sculpt is an AMAZING program and I have seen it transform the lives of many individuals in just a short time. |

Meeting a person where they are, starting slow and helping them to grow from their strengths is why Sculpt works. Education, support and motivation. With those three things our clients become unstoppable in meeting their goals. When I first met Jason, Ryan and Adam I could tell they had a genuine passion and enthusiasm for the people they work with, and their vision was expansive! They have a keen desire to transform lives across Canada. Sculpt members truly become part of a supportive family, a network of others who are experiencing the same challenges, but have a mentor to guide them along their health journey. The energy of Sculpt and its team is CONTAGIOUS!! Each and every Sculpt owner and employee believes in what they do because they see it unfold on a daily bases in the lives of their clients. It’s not just a physical transformation that happens, a mental shift, as well as emotional growth. There is an energy that comes when you change from the inside out. It’s that energy that draws clients to this program as we their life coaches live the lifestyle as well. I am so grateful to be part of such an exciting team and this is just the beginning for Sculpt. I am blessed to work with the people I do on a daily basis and have such an amazing network of support from our leaders as well as other consultants. |

I see my clients setting and reaching goals and affecting those around them in a positive way, it’s truly a dream to be able to do what I love.

Ron Reynolds and his health and wellness story Father of Sculpt Co-founder, Ryan Reynolds |

“Just to give you an example of what nutrition and exercise did for me. I had 2 heart attacks 8 months apart. One on Dec 15/2011 and the other Aug 29/2012. With the second one being more severe than the first one. I had no blockages and doctors could only come up with a drug that I had been taking for 25 years called Celebrex. I was taken off the drug and was told that I had permanent damage to the bottom left and right parts of my heart. I was then put on about 16 different meds and knew I had to make some lifestyle changes.
I started with proper nutrition and exercise and started juicing fresh vegetables every day. Now I am down to 2 heart meds and my doctors are totally amazed by what has transpired. My last echo was truly mind blowing to my doctors as it showed that the damage to my heart was totally gone. I hope this helps to explain that you can change a lot of things with proper nutrition and exercise. You could even say I walked it off.” _ Ron Reynolds |

Dietitian Corner with Annick Poirier How to live longer The answer to this is fairly simple. Eat nutrient quality food, rich in vitamins, minerals, phytochemicals, flavonoids, phenols, fiber, protein, fats and carbohydrates that our body needs to live a long healthy life. Giving the body what it needs allows the body to do what it is supposed to do, heal, rejuvenate, and thrive. What is important to realize is that many disease related to aging can be avoided by eating healthy. I won’t go into all the ways stress can affect our health, but it does have a complicated ...

- 1 (15.5 oz) can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- ¼ cup Greek yogurt
- 3 to 4 cloves garlic
- 3 Tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tsp. lemon zest
- ½ tsp. cumin

- Trim the leaves of the beets so that just a bit of stem is left then clean and scrub them well. Wrap each beet individually in foil and roast in the oven for 1 hour.
- Once the beets are done roasting, run them under cold water to make them easier to peel and give them a rough chop.
- Add all ingredients into the food processor, except for the oil, and puree for 1 to 2 minutes. Scrape the sides and continue pureeing for an additional 30 seconds. Slowly add the oil while the mixture is processing, adding more as needed, until nice and creamy. Serve and enjoy!
