My Wishes This Season
Just a quick note to my beautiful community on the Winter Solstice. Wishing you the very best this holiday season, may it be full of lovingkindess for ourselves, our family and loved ones and for the greater collective. May you have moments of belly laughs, libations - followed up with water of course ;) and lightheartedness. Winter solstice marks the beginning of the transformation from absolute yin to the return of yang. Winter is a time to reflect, a time for introspection and exploration of our innermost being. As yang begins to return, warmth, rest and reflection puts us in harmony with the contractive nature of winter. May you find the time to sit with stillness and embrace the invitation to go within. I recently came across an article titled "The Disease of Being Busy". It really struck home for me, in anticipation of the holiday season I have found myself caught in the busy-ness trap. So upon reflection I would like to ask you all "how is your heart doing?" May we take the time to connect, human to human, and when we ask eachother how we are doing, let's talk about how we are doing in this moment, in this breath, how are we feeling and how is our heart? I encourage you all to read this beautiful article found here. Blessings to you all, Happy Holidays and I look forward to connecting with each and every one of you in the New Year.
With Gratitude,
Kayla Lakusta
