We still have a good selection of Royal Enfield and SYM Scooters and with incredible year end pricing still available, Now is the time to get your new ride ready for Spring. You can see all our end of year specials here.

Here's some big news to start this edition of the oVc Chronicles; Transport Canada has approved the CCM GP450 for sale in Canada. CCM may not be widley known on this side of the Atlantic, but this high-tech British manufactuer is a previous winner of the Dakar Manufacturer's trophy so they clearly know a thing or two about putting together a hardcore bike.

This mid-sized adventure machine is powered by a 450 cc BMW single cylinder engine and - get this - oVc has the North American prototype on our showroom floor! Stop in today to see this amazing machine in person!

Book Your Sidecar Project Now!

So, is this the year you finally make the move to the sidecar way of life? oVc is your sidecar installation expert and with several different sidecar models to choose from, oVc can add a sidecar to almost any motorcycle or scooter.

Stop by or give Ken a call for more info but act quickly to get your installation booked so you can be ready to ride once the snow melts. Or, if you’re like some sidecarists we know, a little bit of snow is nothing to worry about.

Speaking of sidecarists, the Canadian Sidecar Owners Club (CSOC) webmaster stopped in recently to get some work done on his own sidecar rig. While visiting, he dropped off a couple of signed copies of the new book on the sidecar lifestyle he recently completed.

oVc is a big supporter of the Canadian Sidecar Owners Club and includes a 1-year membership to CSOC on all new and used sidecar rigs sold by oVc.

Customer Corner

It’s been a busy time on the sales floor with many new customers taking advantage of our generous end of year savings on new and used Urals and Royal Enfields. Here’s just a few of the many happy new owners we’ve helped find the perfect ride.

We’ll begin this month’s collection of new owners with Larissa showing off her new Royal Enfield Bullet 500.

Here we have Dalia urging hubby Jonas to take the picture so they can get a little ride in on their new Gaucho Rambler.

Lisa is eager to hit the road on a new SYM Symba while Paul tends to the orange Ural Patrol.

Marielle can’t wait for Spring when she can pilot her own SYM Wolf.

Yan gets ready to take his new Royal Enfield Chrome home.

Ural Dealer Meeting Update

Ken recently attended the North American Ural Dealers Meeting in Washington. There was a lot of information with some exciting news that will be coming out later next year. In the meantime, here are some highlights we can share now:

  • A new final quality check process consisting of 150 component checks is now in place for all Urals leaving the factory.

  • Several new improvements to the paint process, including:
    • Improved surface preparation including water demineralization equipment to better clean the surface prior to painting
    • New paint booths now online with improved quality checks

  • Parts Suppliers
    • Ural has brought in new suppliers to improve the quality of some sourced parts, including
    • New rocker arms, brake actuating rods, and wiring harness

  • Design and Process changes
    • Corrected an issue with the flywheel seal

    • New tappets to reduce failure rate

    • Changes made to rim design to reduce cracking issues

    • New seal for the final drive

  • 2016 Models were announced and the full lineup for next year includes:
    • Gear Up in Urban Camo, Wooldland Cam, and Asphalt Grey

    • Patrol in Green, Burgundy Gray Metallic

    • cT in Terra Cotta and Gloss Grey

    • M70 in Flat Olive

Ken got so carried away with all this Russian iron, he "special ordered" a cT in black! Talk about a unique rig.

Here are some pictures Ken snapped of the new models.

That’s everything for this issue of the oVc Chronicles. Remember, if you’re in the Acton area, we’d love to have you stop by for coffee and to chat motorcycles.
