Hey there playschool folks!

Happy harvest season to ya. 

I be doin' my absolute best ta keep up with the mountain of admin werk ta be done before we start up fer our next year of play n' magic together. My mind and heart tho, prolly much like yer own, is whirlin' n twirlin' in these here late summer season days. SO MANY FEELINGS! My summertime mysteries unfolded n broke me open with such forceful potency, and I'm still werkin' on bringing all that magic into meaning and context. I sure am lookin' forward to the quieter times of fall and the darkness of winter when I'll have more space ta find the deeper meanings and come into deeper relationship with all the people, creatures, places, and things that seeded luv magic in my heart this summer. But fer now, we still have the rest of this her summer tide to ride. Just a bit more summer time mystery to be revealed, and I welcome it. Heart full swung open to it.  And I'll jus keep on giving thanks.

Just a reminder, our first day of playschool fer this year is Monday September, 24th. New fer this year, our playschool will transition to a Monday - Friday schedule. We'll also be offering our Portland Town Field Studies program on alternating Saturdays. You can find all the information you need about playschool rhythm & flow, schedules, tuition and such over on the updated website, but please do let me know if'n ya gotz a need fer more clarification than the those updates can offer.  Okay, read on fer all the important thangs you'll need ta know and register fer before our first day.

Enrollment 

If ya ain't got yer enrollment form in yet and intend to join us fer our 3rd year, this be the time to send it in so that you can have yer best chance at gittin' yer preferred schedule. At the time of this newsletter, we've just got one spot left in our Moon Blossoms friend circle (ages 0-3), and three or four spots left in our Moon Flowers (ages  3-6) n' Moon Beams

(ages 6-9) friend circles. So, please do help me get our schedule configured n get yer enrollment form back to me just as soon as possible if'n ya intend fer yer kiddo to join us this year. If yer a new family joining us fer yer first year, this is also the form to fill out to let us know that you'd like to be part of our magic here. So, all folks who plan to be with us fer next year, if ya ain't done so already, click on this here button below and send in yer enrollment form fer this upcoming year.

Portland Town Field Studies 

Starting this Fall, we are offering our adventurous Portland Town Field Study program fer kiddos ages 4 & up. This optional program meets alternating Saturdays from 11 am-3 pm at rotating rendezvous locations around the city. Locations will vary depending on the city's seasonal offerings and will include destinations such as children's museums, child focused play spaces, libraries, natural areas, art studios, children's theaters, etc. Families can choose to add this program to their kiddos playschool enrollment, or choose to enroll in the field study program only as a stand alone option. So, secure yerself some precious Saturday morning free time a couple times a month, we're gonna have a ton o fun.  

All kiddos must be toilet proficient, have weather appropriate rain gear, and be able to manage an adventurous day of hopping across town on buses, trains, and feet er exploring forests while carrying their own child sized backpack.

Brown bag lunch required

September Tuition 

To help the budget flow better this year, beginning in September tuition will now be due by the 3rd day of the month. This change in tuition due date will help ensure that I can get everything and everyone paid on time every month. Please do remember to send in yer September tuition no later than September 3rd. And, as we are only holding playschool in the last week of September, please do go ahead and prorate yer September tuition as is appropriate fer yer self selected pay scale. October will be our first full month of the year and tuition payments fer that month will be due in full by the 3rd of October. If'n ya got any questions bout all that just lemme know. I'd be happy ta clarify. 

Thanks to all my friends who came joined us fer our last summer session of the season last week. Despite the smoke and dreadful air quality, we had some great play. If'n ya still gotz to send in yer summer camp tuition, please do send that in just as soon as you are able. Collecting of those funds will help me out a bunch this month.
