We've Got Cottons!
And lots of them! We've just recently been given a large donation of beautiful cottons from the estate of a prolific quilter. So many yards, and in gorgeous colors and lovely prints. All for $2 to $4 per yard. Come, and get yours while they last!

Sign up Today for Creature Feature Camp!
Wondering what to do with yourself during the week between Christmas and the New Year? Sign up for Monday the 26th through Friday the 30th for Creature Feature Camp! Whether it’s a stuffed bear or a plush dinosaur or a fantastic animal of your own sparkling imagination, we invite you to make your fabric creature creation at our holiday break camp. Bring a friend, or bring a grandparent or your favorite uncle or another relative! Or all of the above! Ages 10 and up are welcome. Ages 8-10 with a trusted adult only. $40 for 5 days. As always, no experience is necessary, and scholarships are available. Let's sew together!

Knitting Circle at
1872 Cafe ~ News!
We meet Saturdays, weekly, from 10 a.m. to 12 Noon. Please note, however, that because the cafe is closed Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve, we will not meet on the 24th and 31st of December. So let's knit together on the 17th of December, and we will meet again in the New Year! 
Please note that our shop will also be closed on Christmas Eve, and that we will close at 3 p.m. on New Year's Eve.

This Week's Super Saturday Special!
This Saturday, the 17th, our Super Saturday Special is all about sewing machines! If you're planning to purchase a sewing machine this holiday season, think about sustainably gifting someone you love with a carefully refurbished, solidly built, rescued-for-reuse machine. Come in, and take advantage of Saturday's sweet 25% discount on our already low-priced machines: $30 to $100!

Remember...
Every Saturday is Scrappy Saturday! Our small scrappy bags stuffed with scraps and rolls of fabric and/or unmarked balls of yarn are only $1 all day (regularly $3 on weekdays). Grocery-sized totes stuffed full are only $5 (regularly $10). Stop by and fill a bag this Saturday, and every Saturday. We won't stop you! There will always be more to be had.

Don't see Measure Up!/Fit It on our calendar? We still offer it! If you wish your clothing fit you better than it does, or if you want to stop sewing and/or knitting garments that you either swim in or can't quite close at the front, the first step is to obtain accurate measurements of your body.
