Truckee Meadows Parks Foundation will be hosting its annual Halloween fundraiser. We will be screening the 1920 classic German expressionist film, The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari, in the Robert Z. Hawkins Amphitheater at 6:30pm on Friday October 21st.

Tickets are $10. Kids 12 & under are free.

Discover Your Parks After Dark

Following the movie, join us for a free stargazing event, Discover Your Parks After Dark, starting @ 8:30pm.

Co-host: Fleischmann Planetarium

Come view the 2016 Orionid Meteor Shower, hear constellation creation myths, and check out some of the visible planets through a telescope!

Rennovated Virginia Lake Dog Park Is Open!

 

Improvements at the Virginia Lake Dog Park are the result of a grassroots collaborative effort among TMPF, the City of Reno, several business partners, and the Virginia Lake Dog Park Restoration Association.

The grand opening attracted over 50 people to show their support and appreciation for the improvements.
