May 2019 Edition

Vision:  Explore! Excite! Empower!

Dear Mayfair Family and Friends,

Thank you for another wonderful and productive school year.  We can’t thank everyone enough for your endless hours of volunteering, chaperoning, reading, organizing, donating, and doing whatever was necessary to support students—both at home and at school.  Special thanks to our PTA who, as usual, went above and beyond the call of duty to provide whatever was necessary to add to our students’ already rich school experience.

That experience could not occur without the endless energy, skills and devotion of the Mayfair Lab staff.  Thanks and well done to an incredible group of professionals.

A final word to Mayfair Lab School students:  Thank you for all your hard work throughout the school year.  We are so honored to be a part of your life; you make us all proud to be Mayfair Tiger Cubs!  You keep us laughing and young at heart.  We are grateful for your joy, astute insights, and amazing talents.

Best wishes to our graduating eighth graders, whom we will all miss greatly—please come back and visit!!

Everyone have a safe and happy summer break.

Until next school year, here’s wishing you love, laughter, and learning.

Respectfully,

The Faculty and Staff of Mayfair Laboratory School

Examples of resources:

- I work at an office and we have a lot of cardboard boxes that we could donate.

- My brother is a chemist and would be willing to demonstrate the importance of lab safety to middle schoolers.

- My neighbor is a master gardener and would be willing to do her service hours at Mayfair.
