Here are a few of my favorite things! As shared in my classes, I notice a pattern over the past 4 years every fall I turn to pages from the Shambhala, and though Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche was not the model citizen, his teachings in this book really speak to me. | | |

I've started listening more to Pema Chodron, ordained nun and disciple of Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche, and have found this particular collection of Dharma talks to be very helpful for recent times! My pal, teacher, and former roommate Ewa initially turned me on to CTR's teachings, Tibetan Book of the Dead(referenced in Dharma talks above), and Tibetan Yogas of Dream and sleep. |

Last month NOURISH in the desert was such a blast! We stayed at Starship Landing, ate delicious foods, did yoga, hung out in hammocks, soaked in hot tubs, and went to the INTEGRETRON. Doesn't get much better than that folks, but essentially the key to knowing joy is the simpler things. |

I've been thinking a lot about simplicity and contentment lately. Maybe it's from the discomfort of Mercury in retrograde, the time change, seasons change, cold and flu season, daily news and horrors, the fires, fill in the blank...I've struggled with some anxiety and sleep issues recently so seeking refuge in stillness and simplicty came to me at the right time. |
