August Reception at the Welcome Center We held our second Artist Reception at the Welcome Center on August 17, featuring our artist of the month: Patti Krueger. We had light appetizers, wine and refreshments. A good turnout and a chance to hear the latest on our Current Projects. We talked about the upcoming Youth Art Show at the Boys & Girls Club on October 27-28, as a fundraiser for our Community Mosaic Project. We also pointed out the sponsorship opportunities for the project, and actually received $1500 on the spot from three members: Austin McNaughton, Fran Lemos and Mark & Cheryl Joseph. More sponsorships are still coming in (see the article below!) If you would like to be included in a future show, or to join the Arts Foundation, email us at info@amcanart.org--or better yet, just show up on the 17th! |
