HPA Fitness Instructor Training Thursday, June 14, 12-2PM Windward YMCA RSVP~ email: info@parkinsonshawaii.org On June 14, the Hawaii Parkinson Association (HPA) and the YMCA will be holding a fitness instructor training to teach instructors how to manage and implement fitness programs for people living with Parkinson’s disease. The training will focus on general exercise techniques as well as how to incorporate yoga into classes for Parkinson’s patients. This is a free event for fitness instructors interested in learning how to safely and effectively teach fitness to people living with Parkinson’s disease. Hopefully facilitating group discussion relating to things folks with PD and care partners need to think about when planning their next trip.
