Royal Enfield’s North American head office recently informed Old Vintage Cranks that it had discovered several new 2015 Royal Enfield Continental GT Café Racers in their warehouse still in the original shipping crates!
These previous year models are being made available to our dealership at a price that allows us to pass incredible savings on to you! In fact, we will be offering these new machines for nearly $2,000 less than the MSRP for the 2017 model year bikes.
These bikes will be registered as 2015 models but they are identical to the 2017 models scheduled to arrive in dealer showrooms in the next few weeks. Keep in mind that in addition to massive savings, these 2015 models are eligible for full factory warranties! |

Now is the best time for you to get a great deal on a new Royal Enfield Continental GT Café Racer but act fast! Old Vintage Cranks has only three of these bikes – 1 in black and 2 in yellow – not yet spoken for.
For those who have not heard yet, Royal Enfield has dropped the yellow colour option for 2017 model year so if you’ve been looking for a gorgeous yellow GT Café Racers, Old Vintage Cranks is your best chance to find one, and at a great price!
Royal Enfield has a long history of motorcycle production and was instrumental in the “Rocker” movement prevalent in the UK during the 1950s and 60s. |

2017 Toronto Spring Motorcycle Show Wrap Up A big “thank you” to all our friends who stopped by the oVc booth at this year’s Toronto Spring Motorcycle show. It was great to see so many familiar faces and to meet new riders and introduce them to our little shop in Acton. Hopefully, you will have the opportunity in the next little while to stop by and check out all the new 2017 models now gathered in our showroom. Also, a special thanks to Oliver Solaro – AKA “Canada’s Ice Road Biker” – who spent the weekend entertaining scores of attendees with tales of his recent trip on the northern Ontario ice roads aboard our studded-tire equipped CCM GP450. The CCM performed flawlessly and Oliver, one of the more interesting characters you’re bound to meet, took center stage on Sunday to explain just why he subjects himself to such hardships. Spoiler alert: the best answer he has is “why not?” |
Oliver is busy planning his next adventure and you can follow along on his Facebook page. During the show, we had the chance to talk motorcycles with a great number of people and had some very informative conversations. We’re always amazed at the level of knowledge so many have with regards to certain bikes. We even had the chance to talk to a couple of gentlemen originally from Eastern Europe who had first-hand experience with old Urals and Dneprs from their younger years. They were very impressed with the latest generation of the Ural and were pleased to see that modern-day Urals still retain the ruggedness and capability of the original models. The yellow Continental GT Café Racer also garnered much attention. |
Of course, the CCMs were a big hit and many current adventure style riders were very impressed with the quality of the materials used by CCM and the precision with which the bike is assembled. They were even more in awe upon learning that CCM uses a BMW 450 cc engine and that the entire bike weighs in at an extremely light 285 pounds! As you know from a recent oVc Chronicles Newsletter article, Clews Competition Motorcycles (CCM) is a high-end, boutique manufacturer started by former Trials and off-road champion, Alan Clews. CCMs have only been in this country for just over a year now, and oVc was the first to offer the CCM line in Canada. |
We currently have a great selection of 2017 CCMs in the showroom so if you’re looking for a truly unique adventure bike that makes use of the industry’s latest light-weight alloys matched with the best mid-size engine available, then be sure to visit oVc today! |
