Nonprofit Organization Makes History with Largest Public Service Awards

Washington, DC – January 20, 2017 - Project Briggs, Inc. is proud to announce #THEBOLDBRAVE30 Public Service Awards to be held on February 19, 2017  from 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. (Main Lobby Conference Center) located at 1325 G Street, NW Washington, DC. After being selected from a record-breaking number of nominations, 30 Leaders and Public Servants from across the United States will be honored in the following areas: Leadership, Civic Engagement, Community Advocacy, Fashion, Arts & Entertainment. These honorees have immersed first hand, while experiencing the heart to serve and what it takes to lead by example. They are BOLD, COURAGEOUS, BOLD, and FEARLESS.

 

"Our Board of Directors and Volunteers have worked tirelessly to build on the foundation in our community." says Abdur-Rahim Briggs, President-CEO. These Nominees create contextual and experiential awareness by providing insight from a variety of local and statewide matters focusing on complex community and municipal issues. This year's candidates were drawn from a diverse and inclusive group of professionals from both private and public sectors. They have taught as an inherent principle, advancing public interest and creating community awareness in which different points of views can be expressed. This year's #THEBOLDBRAVE30 reflect the basic and diverse values of our community.
