Coming this December: Creature Feature Camp! |
|

Wondering what to do with yourself during the week between Christmas and the New Year? Please consider joining us, Monday the 26th through Friday the 30th for Creature Feature Camp! Whether it’s a stuffed bear or a plush dinosaur or a fantastic animal of your own sparkling imagination, we invite you to make your fabric creature creation at our holiday break camp. Bring a friend, or bring a grandparent or your favorite uncle or another relative! Or all of the above! Ages 10 and up are welcome. Ages 8-10 with a trusted adult only. $40 for 5 days. As always, no experience necessary, and scholarships are available. Let's sew together! |

Knit with us at the 1872 Cafe! Saturday mornings, beginning December 3, SewGreen@ROC will be at the coffee shop - 1872 Cafe - across the street from us, knitting (or crocheting) from 10 a.m. to 12 Noon. They've created a cozy spot and are eager for us to fill it! Patti, our resident knitter and yarn wrangler, will be there every Saturday she is able to be. If you're a knitter or a crocheter or you'd like to be, and you'd like to join in, please do! And no worries! The SewGreen@ROC shop at 438 W. Main will still be open Saturdays from 10 to 5. |

Remember... Every Saturday is Scrappy Saturday! Our small scrappy bags stuffed with scraps and rolls of fabric and/or unmarked balls of yarn are only $1 all day (regularly $3 on weekdays). Grocery-sized totes stuffed full are only $5 (regularly $10). Stop by and fill a bag this Saturday, and every Saturday. We won't stop you! There will always be more to be had. |

Don't see Measure Up!/Fit It on our calendar? We still offer it! If you wish your clothing fit you better than it does, or if you want to stop sewing and/or knitting garments that you either swim in or can't quite close at the front, the first step is to obtain accurate measurements of your body. Our Super Saturday Special is back! We are over-run with beautiful cotton fabrics, which is GREAT news for you! This Saturday, the 3rd of December, we are offering 25% off all marked (that means measured and priced) cotton fabrics! Please be patient with us. The good news is we had phone and internet service at the shop for five whole days just before Thanksgiving. The bad news is we no longer do. (That's why you're receiving this email later than we'd like.) You can still leave a voicemail for us - we check them frequently - and we receive every email you send to info@, donate@ and volunteer@, but we cannot respond as quickly as we'd like.
