Today, under Maryland law only sworn police officers can decide whether an officer should be disciplined. Legislation is currently being reviewed in the MD Senate, with the possibility of lifting this restriction to allow civilians to participate on police trial boards. Maryland needs to implement an effective police reform. One that reflects the interests of the people, that prevents police abuse and events like the death of Freddie Gray. Help us.
