Paul's pizza is looking for full and part-time cooks prep and pizza staff. We prefer candidates that have food service skills and or also speak Spanish.
Primearica is looking to hire, train, and teach you to become a Financial Adviser. No experience is necessary. Reps will have the opportunity to sell financial products and assist families in solving financial woes. All hires take a two to three day course where they will be in class for up to 20 hrs. If individuals are hired into the company, they will be scheduled for a class to get licensed. The class is $124. In order to be licensed through the state individuals must get this license. If you or someone you know is seriously considering becoming a licensed Financial Aidviser call Rennard at 313-960-5916. Rennard will assist in arranging a meeting with the Regional Vice President.
CERT classes are a part of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) citizen corps training. The CERT volunteers are trained to assist first responders in the event of an emergency or disaster. The CERT training includes disaster preparedness, fire safety, disaster medical operations, light search and rescue, the use of Automated External Defibrillators (AED), and basic medical treatment such as how to treat burns, fractures, strains, and hypothermia, how to bandage wounds, and other life-saving techniques.
The City of Detroit Office of Homeland Security & Emergency Management is offering free CERT training. The next 4-day class will be held May 12-14, and May 21 at Greater Grace Temple, located at 23500 W. Seven Mile Rd. To register, or for more information, call 313-596-1284.
