Mother, wife, fundraiser, author, television personality, political activist, and entrepreneur are all titles that can be claimed by Lea Black, a Texas native who moved to Miami in the late 1980s. Lea is president and CEO of The World of Lea Black, a multi-brand company featuring skincare, handbags, jewelry and business opportunities for women. Lea also blogs for outlets such as The Huffington Post, E! Online and Ok Magazine, is an ambassador for Haute Living Magazine and its digital incarnation, and publishes a pop culture, health, beauty, and lifestyle blog, LeaBlackInk. She is passionate about the annual gala she hosts that wrangles in Miami’s considerable wealth and talent in order to raise money for charity. 2014 marks the 20th anniversary of the gala. Lea lives in Miami with her husband, renowned trial lawyer Roy Black, with whom she has a thirteen-year-old son, RJ.
