High Moon is back, Baby!

It's been more than 2 months since I've sent out a newsletter, and so I apologize for that! Especially to newcomers from ConBravo :)

Life has just been extremely busy. Development of the app has restarted, AND High Moon underwent a MASSIVE overhaul.

It's basically a new game, with the same story and premise (ya know...cowboys dueling each other with elemental magic and all).

The best way to see what's new and how the game plays now, is to download the free Print-and-Play by clicking the link below and giving it a look-see!

High Moon: The Elements by Isaac Black's Studio

A unique and fast paced elemental dueling game.

But because I like you, here is a quick list of updates to the game:

- You no longer attack or defend. Now, both players attack at the same time.

- Elements no longer have offense or defense element effects. Now, elements only have 1 effect, which can be offensive or defensive.

- Element "blocks" and "amplifications" have been simplified. Now, each card only blocks/is strong to 1 element, and is only weak to 1 element (much more like rock-paper-scissors).

- "Synergies" have been added to the Elements. These allow your spells to be weaker or stronger depending on what cards you have active in your hand.

- Energy has been added to the game (and is tracked on a card the same way health was before). All spells cost energy.

- Damage and Energy Cost indicators have been added to all applicable cards.

- "Energy Burn" ability added (which is the only way to reactivate discarded elements, and boost your damage output).

- "Withdrawal" happens when you reach 0 energy.

- Health can now be exchanged for energy (1:1 ratio).

- "Boons" have been removed from the Health Tracker.

- Signature Spells have been added, which are a small way to customize your hand.

- Added more number cards (2 sets of 1-5) to be used in "face-offs".

- Face-offs added to game (think of it like a mini-game of blackjack to determine whose card will win that turn). Face-offs only occur when 2 Elements have no relation to each other.

- Character Cards added (there will be a total of 8 characters across 4 cards).

- Tuck Box art updated.

- Element card art updated.

- Multiplayer rules altered. 1 box now only supports 2 OR 4 players to compensate for the additional cards added to the game.

The next newsletter will focus a lot more on the Kickstarter, so stay tuned!
